SKF SC..ES Series Rod End Bearings: This series is classed as rod end bearings requiring maintenance. Comprising of sliding contact surfaces of steel against steel these rod end bearings are unsealed and require maintenance from time to time in the form of re-lubrication via the re lubrication point in the side of the head, this will serve to extend it's life cycle. Dependent on installation design the lubricant may also be passed through the housing or spindle directly into the bearing at any point around the groove which has small holes to direct the lubricant onto the mating surfaces. These are metric sized rod end bearings. Manufactured from S355 J2G3 (St 52-3N) Steel and will operate within -50deg C to +200 deg C. This series is designed for welding to piston rods and cylinder bases and is provided with a location dowel pin and a cylindrical welding shank. Application: Suitable for heavy static or alternating loads, shock loads. Benefits: Re-lubricate-able, body can be welded |
