Description

INA Take-Up Housing Units: Supplied with a fully sealed bearing insert fitted in the housing with grub screws in the inner ring. These plastic take-up units are used where shafts must undergo substantial displacement. Due to the spherical outside surface of the bearing outer ring and the concave housing bore, the unit can compensate for static angular misalignment of the shaft of up to 5 degrees if relubrication is not carried out and 2.5 degrees if relubrication is carried out. As the housing is made from plasic and the bearing insert is made from corrosion-resistant steel, this unit is suitable for use where corrosion resistance is required. Benefits: Re-lubricatable, grub screw fixing, corrosion-resistant, tolerates misalignment of the shaft. |
