Description

INA Take-Up Housing Units: Supplied with a fully sealed bearing insert fitted in the housing with an eccentric locking collar. These plastic take-up units are used where shafts must undergo substantial displacement. Due to the spherical outside surface of the bearing outer ring and the concave housing bore, the unit can compensate for static angular misalignment of the shaft of up to 5 degrees if relubrication is not carried out and 2.5 degrees if relubrication is carried out. The bearing insert has a Corrotect® coating which makes it suitable for use if moisture, contaminated water, salt spray mist, weakly alkaline or weakly acidic cleaning agents are present. Benefits: Re-lubricatable, eccentric collar, corrosion-resistant, tolerates misalignment of the shaft. |
